Taipei Fashion Week added a new part to the show to represent the sustainability aspect of fashion. The new Taipei Sustainable Collections took place at Songshan Cultural and Creative Park on March 11th. The show was first ever to be dedicated a whole day for conscious clothing in Asia. The show was said to connect Taiwan’s local fashion and sustainability. #DAMUR, Claudia Wang, DYCTEAM, JUST IN XX, oqLiq and WEAVISM showcased their collections. With six brands participating, each represented its own way of indulging in an eco-friendly way of design. The brands used PET bottles, recycled scrap tires, fish scales and oyster shells in an innovative way. Taipei Fashion Week is a clear representation of how sustainable fashion has become both important and in vogue. Below are the pictures of the collections.
