Crocs are usually not the first pick when it comes to visually appealing footwear. However, when it comes to comfort, it is the one to beat. For the Balenciaga Spring 2022 collection, Demna Gvasalia put a new spin on Crocs, and gave fans a second Balenciaga Crocs collaboration titled ‘Balenciaga Crocs 2.0.’
The luxury brand’s versions of the Crocs included knee-high boots and a high-heeled version of Crocs’ well-known clogs. Both these Balenciaga Crocs renditions appeared in three different colours: black, grey and green. More specifically, the clog-styled Crocs come with black-coloured tube heels attached to them. Each pair is labelled with the designer brand’s name ‘Balenciaga.’
Following the debut of the Balenciaga Crocs stilettos on the Balenciaga Spring 2022 runway, the Balenciaga Crocs 2.0 has been receiving mixed reviews. While some people see the cross-over as elevating the Crocs’ style, others are viewing it as compromising on the comfort of wearing Crocs.
They say necessity is the mother of invention…tell me how this was necessary in any way shape or form? https://t.co/D1eR63cbpm

The price and the release date of the Balenciaga Crocs 2.0 have not been announced yet. According to a report by CNN Business, the stilettos “may sell for as much as $1k.”
Prior to this Balenciaga collaborated with Crocs in 2017. The Balenciaga Platform Crocs from that collab sold out even before it hit the stores. Dazed reported that after the Balenciaga Platform Crocs were put on pre-sale on Barney’s site, the $850 shoes were all bought. Available in pink and yellow, the Balenciaga Platform Crocs featured the French luxury fashion house’s B&B logo, the word ‘Balenciaga’, roses, butterflies and more stickers stuck on it.
In addition to Balenciaga, Crocs has previously collaborated with Justin Bieber, Post Malone, Chinatown Market and more. Crocs also launched a pride collection titled ‘Come As You Are” in celebration of Pride Month.
